This event is a collaboration ride with the San Diego Chapters of the American Planning Association (APA), the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP), and the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). The purpose is to enjoy a bike ride together to kick-off Bike Month and expand each other's networks with fellow planners, urban designers, and engineers in the region. The route will also feature Pershing Bikeway. Bike guides will discuss the planning, design, and construction for the Pershing Bikeway as well as ridership data for the 30th Street cycle track.

Meeting Location: Bea Evenson Fountain in Balboa Park
Time: 10am meet-up, 10:30am roll-out
Route: Park Blvd > Meade > 30th > Pershing > Park Blvd
